Job Description
As a Content Marketer on Animalz's SEO team, you will write and optimise content for a portfolio of B2B technology customers. You will work closely with your Head of Content and Associate Head of Content, who will provide strategy direction, training, and regular feedback. This is primarily a writing role.Key Responsibilities:
- Create SEO-focused content (new articles and refreshes) that drives organic visibility and supports customers' business goals
- Write SEO content (blogs, guides, landing pages) aligned with customer strategy and search intent
- Investigate why existing content is not performing and recommend improvements based on technical SEO factors, competitive gaps, and content quality
- Learn to interpret performance data and contribute to quality standards
- Manage content for approximately 3 customer accounts
- Create performance reports
Requirements:
- 2–4 years of experience in content marketing, preferably in B2B SaaS or an agency setting
- Strong writing and editing skills with solid SEO knowledge (keyword research, on-page optimisation)
- Familiarity with content and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Ahrefs, Clearscope)
- Familiarity with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude) and ability to use them to support, not replace, quality writing
- At least 4 hours of overlap with US time zones (EST/PST)
Salary: $50,000–$74,999 USD. Animalz is a fully remote company primarily serving B2B SaaS and tech companies, with customers including Amazon, Google, Ramp, and Airtable.
