Job Description

Rival Digital is a digital marketing agency focused on home services companies. We help businesses in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and related industries grow through SEO and digital marketing.

We are seeking a Lead SEO to join our remote team. This strategic leadership role will guide the SEO team and drive organic growth for our home services clients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with leadership to communicate SEO strategy and key performance indicators across the organization
- Execute SEO initiatives both independently and through effective delegation to team members
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams on search optimization requirements and projects
- Manage SEO projects from kickoff to delivery, ensuring quality and timeliness
- Mentor and develop a team of SEO specialists, building their skills and expertise
- Lead the evolution of the company's SEO program to remain competitive with industry changes
- Refine the SEO framework and software toolkit to create scalable, customized services
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure teams are trained on new platforms and tools
- Stay current with SEO industry developments, algorithm changes, and emerging technologies

Requirements:
- 3-5 years of hands-on SEO experience with leadership or mentoring responsibilities
- Technical SEO expertise including site architecture, crawling, indexing, and Core Web Vitals
- On-page optimization knowledge including content strategy and internal linking
- Link-building campaign management experience at scale
- Local SEO proficiency for multi-location home service businesses
- Proficiency with Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console
- Strong data-driven decision-making ability
- Excellent communication and cross-departmental collaboration skills
