SEO Specialist

Job Description

Rival Digital is a digital marketing agency specializing in home services companies. We help HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other home service businesses grow through data-driven SEO and digital marketing strategies.

We are looking for an SEO Specialist to join our fully remote team. In this role, you will optimize our home service clients' digital properties for search engines and drive organic website traffic.

Key Responsibilities:
- Establish long-term client objectives and develop implementation plans to achieve them
- Create comprehensive SEO strategies focused on identifying and capitalizing on client opportunities
- Present performance findings, insights, and optimization recommendations to stakeholders
- Manage client performance metrics and SEO key performance indicators
- Conduct keyword research, site audits, competitor analysis, and technical SEO assessments
- Make data-driven optimization decisions and update strategies for algorithm changes
- Develop and execute link-building programs to improve domain authority
- Collaborate with web development teams on technical SEO implementation
- Recommend site architecture and URL structure improvements

Requirements:
- 1-3 years of hands-on organic SEO experience
- Strong technical SEO knowledge (site architecture, crawling, indexing, page speed)
- On-page optimization skills including meta tags, content optimization, and internal linking
- Experience managing link-building campaigns
- Local SEO expertise for multi-location businesses
- Proficiency with Google Analytics and Google Search Console
- Understanding of content marketing best practices
- Mobile optimization knowledge
- Documented results in improving organic rankings and conversions
- Strong communication and cross-team collaboration abilities
